The cut crystal shaft of fountain form unusually engraved with anthemion the upper section with twelve scroll branches arranged on two levels these with scallop edged turnover canopies and pinecone finials. The main receiver bowl with under canopy and finial the receiver mount surmounted by twenty four candle branches arranged on two tiers these with corresponding canopies to the upper section these hung with eight sided spangles and spear shaped drops the branches surmounted with finely engraved hurricane shades the chandelier must likely made for the India market because of the use of this type of shades.
