James Green & Nephew

James Green and Nephew of 35-36 Upper Thames street exhibited at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876, the image showing a similar pair of candlesticks under glass domes.

The company later appears as Henry Green in the business directory of London in 1884 as being at Queen Victorian Street, Warehouses 218 Upper Thames Street, they seem to be lamp manufacturers and metalwork wholesales which is interesting because the glass elements on these candlesticks are of a pattern made by Perry & Co throughout the 19th century.

There are three chandelier frame's known which are engraved Henry Green King William Street London Bridge a pair believed to be hung in the main reception room of the Chowmalla Palace, Hyderabad.
