The bowls engraved each with a rose and bud, one being six petal, seven petal and eight petal. While sets or part sets of Jacobite wines are known, the difference in the roses is something we have never seen before. Although there are various theories about the Jacobite engraving, a significance of the number of petals on the roses would appear to be a mystery.
