A FINE REGENCY DIAMOND CUT DECANTER
REF: FA1570
A Regency period cut glass decanter of generous form and remarkable brilliance. The body is richly decorated with band of deep diamond cutting, contrasting with a panel of fine vertical mitre cutting that create a refined rhythm of light and texture. The sharply defined shoulders are enhanced by concentric step cuts, lending the piece an architectural balance. The neck, elegantly graduated and ringed with bold faceted collars, leads to a finely executed globe stopper, deeply cut with diamond pattern that mirrors the body below. The base is star-cut, completing the design with a flourish of precision craftsmanship.
